Old Florida Cafe in Micanopy

Black beans and rice were AMAZING! Enjoyed browsing the antiques while waiting for the food.

This is a very unique place. Best sandwich at the best price. The Cuban with pickled I recommend. Can't go wrong.

Great Cuban sandwich. Pleasant outside seating in a garden like setting. Browse their eclectic selection of vintage wares, ceramics and records. Try their carrot cake, or take some home, it's delicious😉

Really cool little place to grab a bite to eat. It's a really quaint, old town type of setting, with other shops and restaurants nearby that you can check out. They have great Cuban coffee, Cuban sandwiches, and Cole slaw that's incredible. They also have a wide variety of desserts that vary each day for you to try. The red velvet cake is delicious! Highly recommend.

Best cuban pork, black beans, and yellow rice in the area. It was worth the drive from Orlando.

My wife and I really enjoyed our lunch. She had the Cuban and I had the Mojo Pork sandwich. Both were excellent. In addition I had a Cafe con Leche which was very good. I would definitely return to Old Florida Cafe to eat.

The ambiance was great!! We dined outside under the limbs of a huge Grandfather Oak with spanish moss draped on. Peaceful and charging ! The Becky sandwich was scrumptious and filled with meat. Service was non existent.

A little piece of Hollywood in Micanopy (Doc Hollywood that is). Back in the 90's the town was used as the backdrop for the Michael J Fox comedy .... and, I am happy to say, not much has changed! It is a delightful town with plenty of art and antiques shops, museums and BAGS of history.One of the best things about it was this cafe, who served, as the Mrs said, the best sandwich she had ever eaten. Mine was pretty good too!!! They were so kind and helpful in the cafe and I would recommend stopping by for a sandwich and take a stroll through this beautiful town and see the sights of the movie and shops.

Excellent food. Very homey and friendly staff. Not a large menu but food was excellent.

Off the beaten track. Relaxed atmosphere in old cracker store setting. Good sandwiches and desserts.

Loved this cafe, a fifties throwback ! Sandwiches and desserts with some Cuban coffee to boot.

My husband had the Cuban sandwich. I had the black beans with yellow rice. Both were very good. It is off the beaten path in a quaint town.

I would have given this place 5 starts but I felt a little rushed, I was enjoying looking around but I guess the cashier wanted me to put my order in so I was unable to take me time. The cafe con leche and the Cuban were on point!!! I think that was my favorite food in Micanopy.

Flavorful food. Copius amounts. Serene setting in old south atmosphere. Top notch place to eat!!
